Overview
About Me
More than anything, I love a good adventure.
Im a British chap working to travel and travelling for work. I'm insatiably curious and feel most at home in nature.
I work in humanitarian aid and spend most of my time in Africa and the Middle East. I love to drift and take spontaneous trips with my dogs... and perhaps a human from time to time 🙃 I try to connect with the true spirit of a place by connecting with local folks and customs.
I enjoy a philosophical debate and musing about the weird ways of the world. When not doing all of that, I love a good film, book, food, and hanging out with the dogs.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the spirit of exploration and adventure in the Couchsurfers I've met. Most people sign up to CS for the same reasons of learning and sharing.
I'm always keen for some adventure and couchsurfing is the best place to find like minded people. CS folks focus on experiences ... what better way to travel.
Interests
I love sports and outdoor activities but equally relaxing with good food, a good book, and interesting conversation. I can't live without music.
I'm curious about people and the different ways we see the world. I enjoy learning about local customs and asking 'why' about everything.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like to read auto/biographies of all kinds. I read a lot on spirituality, Buddhism and self-awareness. I also like to read about running, sports evolution theories and nutrition. I love a good adventure travel story.
I listen to all music, from classical to hip hop. But you will find acoustic and folk on the record player most days.
There are so many great films out there. But a few that stuck in my mind are: Good Will Hunting, Into the Wild, One Week. I love documentaries too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I have ever done it to become involved in my work in humanitarian aid. My job takes me around the world to places many will never go. I love that I get to do this for a lifestyle.
I've had the opportunity to climb and run trails on some incredible mountains along the way and visit amazing natural and historical places. My work is a lifestyle and has given me the opportunity to connect with people from all over the world. By learning about others, I learn about myself.
