ABOUT ME

Where to start....

I'm a recent graduate from Southampton University in the UK and I'm planning to travel for a while before I settle. I've started with 3 months in Xi'an, China teaching English before touring South Asia for a month and returning to the UK in early December.

My aims are to learn a bit of other languages, meet lots of interesting people, get some work experience and generally have a good time. The challenge of traveling alone for the first time is a bit daunting, but I think without trying things you will never know what life can bring you!

I've been a drum teacher in the UK for 5 years and have been playing drums in musicals and things for far too long. I also ran the London Marathon this year for a cancer charity and raised a fair bit of money for them as well.

PHILOSOPHY

Try almost everything once, unless you are sure you will hate it.

兴趣

Foreign languages fascinate me, unfortunately I'm rubbish at learning them. I really enjoy sport, both playing and spectating. And I couldn't have played drums for long if that wasn't an interest for me as well.

I'm also interested in people; their stories, experiences, ideas and lives. Meeting new people keeps life entertaining.
