About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to see as much of the world as possible, and avoid responsible things like a career and a house in the suburbs

ABOUT ME

I've spent much of the last 8 years travelling through and working in Europe & North America.

Just hitting the road again for a year long round the world trip. Asia, Europe and North America, before getting to Latin America for about 8 months and finishing at the World Cup!

I've worked about 25 different jobs in 15 years (I've left every one of them voluntarily!) and done everything from finance, teaching and sales to bar tending, warehouse work and security.

PHILOSOPHY

Who needs stuff when ya can travel?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted people both on and off CS, and I've been lucky enough to stay with some great people in several countries. On this coming trip I'd like to get more involved!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've so far stayed with around half a dozen CS hosts. The only reason it hasnt been more is that I've been lucky enough to be hosted by people away from CS who I've previously met on the road.

Interests

Travelling, travelling and travelling...oh and sports (Basketball, Aussie Football, Hockey, American Football, Baseball, Rugby, soccer), music, more travel, meeting new people and having a few cheeky pints.

I'm a big fan of books and films based in Post Apocolyptic settings, and historical fiction.

Oh...and Zombie movies. I love zombie movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working at the Vancouver winter Olympics in 2010 was one of the best things I've ever done. People coming together from all over the world to celebrate the best of the best and the things that unite us.
