About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"Le signe le plus certain de ma servitude est ma peur de vivre. Le signe définitif de ma liberté est le fait que ma peur laisse la place à la joie tranquille de l’indépendance." Stig Dagerman

ABOUT ME

I'm 27 years old, and while I haven't figured out a proper life plan yet (volunteering abroad didn't do much for my finances, bartending doesn't do much for my soberness, and documentary filmmaking doesnt do much for job offers), I'm currently trying very hard to make 48 hours' worth of activities fit into 24-hour long days.

Roller Derby (lots), volunteering, ukulele-ing, Live Action Roleplaying, Flying Trapeze, traveling... There's always something great I wanna be doing!

I love to travel, and have been to a lot of fun places, but I'm currently too lazy to enter them all on CS !

PHILOSOPHY

Be creative in logistics to enjoy your life at the fullest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't used my CS profile in a while as I didn't have a couch to share. I'm back now, so message me :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing has been great to me... It made me discover (through links in the news section) Burners Without Borders, a very hippie NGO born from the Burning Man Festival.

I have volunteered with them in Peru for a summer summer, and it was one of the best experiences in my life ! Through them, I met GrassRoots United, the organization I volunteered with in Haiti, and where I met my lovely boyfriend, who knew them from volunteering in Thailand!
They are amazing, volunteer-driven NGOs that anyone should check out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sandboarding in the dunes of a peruvian oasis...
Camera operating in 16mm
Attending events of more than 800 people all dressed up and roleplaying...

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a beginner cook, but I still have some nice recipes... I can also teach some cocktail recipes!

I can also teach the basics of using a sewing machine, and of film photography (but I do mean the basics)
