ABOUT ME

I just graduated from a Bachelor of Geology.

Next plan is to go around the world with my girlfriend Kathleen (http://www.couchsurfing.org/people/pumpkincashew/). We're leaving Montreal on the 1st of September and head out toward Canada's west coast where we'll stay for about two weeks. Then we're flying to China. From there the plan is to go down south-east Asia in about 3½ months and then work in Australia. From there, we'll see! ;)

I don't really like the idea of having everything planned in advance since, anyways, you'll have to improvise and change some things once there. So we'll see what happens and where life's gonna take us!

PHILOSOPHY

I really like the proverb : Akkuna matata.

It means to just take life easy, as it comes. Don't get upset with every litte things. You only have one life, enjoy it and try to see and learn all that you can!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I find that the CS project is a very good initiative! It's a very nice way to meet new and interesting people while traveling or even staying at home! :D

For a year I hosted people at my place, and now I'm gonna visit people and discover their reality.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At the moment (August 2011)I only couchsurfed 3 times, but for next year, I'm travelling and I hope to do as much couchsurfing as I can! :D

Since last July (2010), I've hosted about 30 people. I think I might like even better to host than to surf! You meet SO MANY interesting people and you can learn so much!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A 600km cycling trip through Nederlands, Belgium and a part of France. It was the first time I went out of my country and it was incredible! :D
