ABOUT ME

I'm a very positive person who believes getting to know a new person is one of the great joys of life. I love swapping stories with other travelers and look forward to doing so with other couchsurfers. I'm also a writer and am working on the second draft of a novel.

I am currently a Vocational Instructor at a shelter for homeless youth in Atlanta, GA. I instruct youth on how to prepare for job interviews and help with resume prep.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that the most important thing you can take with you while you travel is an open mind.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed with a very sweet lady in Oakland, California for one month.

Interests

I'm VERY interested in human interactions. Meeting a new person is always unpredictable, and therefore can be a little scary. At the same time it's also very exhilarating. And most relationships I've established have been positive in one way or another. I personally believe being positive is contagious. Like laughter :)

I also like writing, reading, teaching and traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saw about five geisha in one day while I was in the Gion district of Kyoto, Japan.

Got to feed, wash and ride a bunch of elephants at the Baanchang Elephant Park in Chaing Mai, Thailand (They take very good care of their elephants as opposed to other places).

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmmmm. I could teach you how to read the Korean alphabet. It's actually quite simple. :)
