Discovering Turkey for three weeks in October !

ABOUT ME

Hi,

I'm a 28 years old PhD student, working of flood risk in the south of France. I've been living in Montpellier for nearly four years now, and I'd be happy to share my knowledge of the city and its surroundings with you !
We are four roomates living in a small house with a garden close to city center.

OCTOBER 2010: I will travel around Turkey for three weeks with a friend.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Until recently I used to travel with Hospitality Club (http://www.hospitalityclub.org/), and had some great experience through it (in Europe, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, New Zealand, India...) ! I mostly enjoyed meeting people in the Balkans: they all wanted to show me around their hometown, bring me to their favorite places for food and tell me so much about their country :-) I hope my Couch Surfing experience will be as good as this !

Intereses

friends, outdoor activities (hiking, swimming, skiing...), maps (it's partly my job and I love it), photography (always have my camera on me...), learning how people live elsewhere in the world...

Watching colony of puffins in Heymaey islands, thousands of birds on this so little rock close to Iceland !
