ABOUT ME

Some summers ago, I drove a van across the USA to spend several weeks building a cob/straw house on an organic farm in the mountains of Oregon. It was one of the best times of my life. I met great people all along the trip and especially while I was staying in Oregon. Someday I plan to build my own rural strawbale home.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted several people at my house and made great friends through local CS events.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've met up with couchsurfers in my own city and in Galway & Belfast, Ireland. I've met about 30 CSers who were visiting KC. I think this is a great thing!

Interessi

I am interested in fashion design and sewing, natural building, intentional communities, motorcycles and live music at small venues.

I like a wide variety of music. Lately I've been listening to Scottish rock, like We Were Promised Jetpacks and The Frames, but my all time fav is Otis Redding. I also really enjoy The Gossip, The Dollyrots, The Black Keys and Fiona Apple.

Musica, film e libri

I love books, especially sci-fi. Favorite authors are William Gibson, Frank Herbert, Barbara Kingsolver. The best movies are funny and surprising...some of my favorites are Playing By Heart and Once.
