About Me
Aloha! I recently moved to Longwood from Oklahoma. In the between time I couch surfed officially and unofficially in Hawaii while I stayed three months. I promised myself that I would give back and open my place to other surfers once I had a place to offer, and I'm finally in a position to do so. I love in a condo in the far western extremity of Longwood in a community that closely resembles what I think Heaven would be like. I would like to share it with people who would appreciate it and need a place to stay. I do value my privacy, so I'll likely be very selective, but don't be shy ;)
I have a trip planned to Switzerland in May, and I love traveling. I want to continue to do so through CS, so I guess I am preemptively paying it forward. I WILL GIVE PRIORITY TO ANYONE WHO SPEAKS GERMAN, as I am currently learning it and would absolutely love to converse with a native speaker.
I offer a private room and even a private bathroom (I don't use my master suite, so you are welcome to it). I'm not able to offer much knowledge of the area as I'm brand new myself, but if you want to explore, I'm down for that.
My social skills are a little lacking I would say (I’m a bit introverted), but I try to make up for it by being genuine and positive. Currently practicing stoicism.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing on recommendation from a good friend. She has had many good experiences, and I wanted to become part of the community. Now I've fallen in love with the community and would like to play a bigger part, so I've started hosting.

I can teach English to a non-native speaker who has a decent grasp of the language.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a fluent English speaker, so I could help teach English to a non-native speaker. I know a smidge of Korean (I can read it, but can’t translate it or construct sentences) and a bit of German. I studied Spanish for 2 years, but all I remember are a handful of words.
