Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well I live in Utica, Ny on the farm so there isn't possibility of a couch so all I can offer is coffee from Utica Roasters downtown. Unfortunately it seems not many people come thru here. So I am looking to get back out on the road and utilize any open couch I can. Hopefully paying that all back in the future when I get my own couch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None such yet. Like I said not many people come thru here. I've met several folks in Oman thru a friend of mine. Oman has a better attraction than Utica. Go figure!

Interests

Rock climbing when my elbow heals. Wine making (Let it go Wild!) Reading. Eating fresh from the farm. Image surfing the net. Photography...

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a Lord of the Rings fan and Harry Potter as well.
Honestly I like to watch movie trailers. I've found sometimes they are better than the movie it self.
I'm open to most music. Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Vivaldi, Chet Baker, Harry Connick Jr., Charlie Daniels Band...my iTunes is so over full I could never listen to all of it...but I try!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the best would be descending into the Majilis Al Jinz in Oman. I was fortunate to get in there before it was closed. I'm not sure if it has reopened yet. There was talk of putting in an elevator!!!! I really hope that hasn't happened.
Regardless it was a Grand experience I'll never forget and suggest everyone to do it!

Photography I suppose would be a good place to start. I'm always willing to help someone with their English, I've just found that images work sometimes better than words and meaning is found a greater depth thru those images.
