About Me

CURRENT MISSION

keep the water flowing

ABOUT ME

I am currently recovering from a decision to go to law school. Grateful for the perspective it gave me, grateful that I made it out alive, and healthy (objectively, as in, I am alive and breathing). Moving forward is my main goal, the speed at which this progress takes place is not up to me.

I love to ski, play in water, jump off of things into water, play Ultimate, and talk to my dog. He listens. I seek to leave this world a healthier environment for future generations.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and Let Live.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Wes Anderson. Stanley Kubrick. Coen Bros. Lars Von Trier (particularly his flicks with the beautiful Nicole Kidman....mmmmm)
Books: Insightful ones. Vonnegut. And my AA books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw LL Cool J in the Miami airport one time.

I also saw a Scotsman get clobbered by a city bus in Glasgow, shatter his collar bone, then sit up and catch his breath. The amazing part was when the local tavern owner ran in to call the authorities, but felt it more important to bring him two double shots of scotch first, in two separate trips, then call the emergency medical services and not a single person in the street found this to be messed up.

I have also traveled to dozens of interesting and exotic locations mostly on whims.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some law, some art history, perhaps some Swedish. I can learn things, generally. I can share stories, laughs, tears. I like to help other recovering addicts and alcoholics, or anybody else to see the positive side of life.
