Overview
About Me
I am a PhD student, my research is in the area of genetics, I consider myself a fun person and I like to travel. I also travel for conferences or courses. The Couchsurfing made these trips to work a much better experience, being able to meet people and see routines of a country different from mine.
I like beer, guitar, science and especially talking. A good conversation is always the best gift for me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I mentioned on my profile, couchsurfing has changed my travel expectation. Before going to the community, study trips were always very "cold", knowing things by themselves. But as I read the profiles I realized that they can be a lot more fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am part of a podcast of scientific divulgation and we try to do it in a fun way since often the subject is complicated. We know that the vast majority of our listeners are adults. But I recently received an email from two children ages 9 and 11. In the email they thanked for the cast in which we talked about the DNA and its history, talking about how each experiment was done. The email was simply wonderful, and I was proud of teaching science to children.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you want to learn Portuguese, I'll talk to you. if you want to learn about genetics, health, podcasts, beer or anything, I love to talk. If you have an acoustic guitar, we can play it too. But if you are visiting Recife-Brazil, do not worry, I have an acoustic guitar, the fun is guaranteed.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I make a good coffee, if you'll let me. But my best is good conversation.
