ABOUT ME

Before sending me a request, please read the 'couch description'. I can't host very much, so read that before wasting both your time and my time, thanks!.

Couchsurfing often thinks I'm in Surrey, or Yorkshire, or maybe some other random place. It is wrong, I'm in Edinburgh.I'm open-minded but, as I don't want my brains to fall out, not too much. I'm also easy going, sometimes, except when I get annoyed; then I'm not. I'm generally pretty laid back, unless I'm worked up about something. After having been in the most isolated part of Australia for most of my life, it's time for me to travel and meet more people.I generally like a certain amount of planning - but I also like to leave enough space in plans for freedom and spontaneity.

I am currently studying full time, as well as working part time, so I have very little time left over, and thus can't host very often.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had a great time couchsurfing around Europe, meeting lots of fun and interesting people. I am now in Edinburgh, Scotland, and host interesting people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed in a few places, and each time was great in a different way - meeting people, talking, and so on.
I've hosted a few times now, and have met several very interesting people. I definitely hope to be able to host more in the future.

Interesses

I'm a bit of a history buff, but I also enjoy parties, dancing, heading out to pubs, music, sitting around chatting, and much more.
I am now studying full time at the university of Edinburgh, doing a master's of Policy studies, so I'm happy to talk about politics, economics, or anything like that.
Swing dancing has been what I spend most of my free social time doing lately.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I greatly enjoy a wide variety of music, and am always open to something new. I'm not a fan of Rap/R&B though.
I don't watch too many movies, but enjoy almost everything I watch.
I read a lot of books, mostly sci-fi/fantasy, but will happily read anything interesting.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Just hearing all the different languages spoken by people is a wonderful thing, even if I don't understand a word of it. It's something that does not happen in Australia.

On other trips, the Grand Canyon was rather stunning.

Ensine, Aprenda, Compartilhe

As I only speak English, and possibly a smattering of German (I took German for 4 years in school, but that was a while ago and I don't remember much at all), I am very eager to learn what I can of other languages.
I can teach some swing dancing - it's not that hard, and it's a lot of fun.
