About Me

CURRENT MISSION:
First of all, I am not a cook! I just posted this picture as it draws attention ha!ha! ha!
I joined Couch Surfing because I have been travelling extensively and I keep on moving.... All those travels taught me the following: the true voyage of discovery lies not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes
My mission is to spread positive vibrations of peace and harmony between the people
Our ( first) life is short so be good..

ABOUT ME

I am an open-minded person, curious about smart people and plenty of things.
I grew up in a peaceful green environment in Southern France, however I have spent time and enjoyed exploring experimenting chaotic megacities.
I have lived in 6 countries, where I worked as a teacher/tour guide/artist. This rewarding experience has allowed me to meet plenty of people, study languages, social codes. I would be glad to share my experience about that. I currently split my time in Poland (Warsaw), and Tbilisi(Georgia in the Caucasus.) among other things to find inspiring environments for art, short films and nature..I think that it is good to combine several lifstyles .

PHILOSOPHY

Do not plan too much your life. Be a free thinker and honest to yourself.
Small minds discuss people, average minds discuss events, great minds discuss ideas..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a part time follower of the community as long as some events draw my attention, like language swaps, excursions, cultural meetings; however something which is well organised and concrete.
I just hang out with people who are open to share. Please take your time to write something in your profile it is easier to connect. Meetings in loud pub crawling and small talks are not anymore my cup of tea, sorry.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted some global travellers and being hosted too. Many years of experience
I have organised and/ or participated in some events, namely cultural and healthy like cinema screenings, yoga, hikings

Giving up my comfort zone, with no regrets

Teach, Learn, Share

I am crazy about arty and documentary films (movies from Berlin, Locarno, Rotterdam, Cannes Film Festivals). As we live in a world of bombarded images, I am demanding with watching quality arty films.
I have studied the history of films and also have the opportunity to work at a local arthouse cinema. Sorry, I am afraid that Hollywood mainstream films are not for me.
I like performing arts (from opera to underground theatre) too.
I can share my knowledge on languages, and art in general being a teacher/tour guide by profession. Also I am a spiritual person (vegetarian, practising yoga. I have zero tolerance for alcohol, do not smoke..but I try to be funny too ha!!ha!!
