ABOUT ME

I can be shy at first but usually it disappears after a while. I'm calm and easygoing, yet sometimes grumpy and annoying. I'm spontaneous and quite often do things the last minute.. My closest friends & relatives would describe me as stubborn, I'm not sure I would agree with that - probably!;D There's many sides to me just like everyone else. I'm a very independent person and don't mind my own company but I prefer being around other people. I'm a loving and caring person who absolutely loves traveling and I couldn't imagine a life without exploring new places. Get to know me and see for yourself. :)

PHILOSOPHY

Age is mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had my first CouchSurfing experience in Paris. Couldn't have asked for a better host. He was great and extremely friendly! We didn't spend the whole time together but that's not necessary anyways. I can explore by myself without a problem, I don't need a 24/7 personal host. Some time spent together would be appreciated though. After Paris I was hosted in Marseille and also spent some time with other CS during my trips.

I've met some amazing people through CouchSurfing! I'm amazed how much people are willing to do for people they don't even know that well.

Interests

Truly love travelling, it's such a passion as well as dancing and scuba diving. I spend a lot of time with my friends, sometimes doing absolutely nothing at all but still having a good time. Love to listen to music and sometimes end up swept away with the same songs.. Some songs are so full of memories and easily bring a smile on my face. Love to watch movies, take photos (I'm a true photoholic;D ) and enjoy the moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling around so much, both with my friends and by myself. I think you learn even more when you do it alone. It's easier to meet new people when you're not in a crowd and you get to do everything according to your own schedule and preferances.

Diving in general is wonderful but especially in the Great Barrier Reef. It's fantastic! The variety of corals, fish and other underwaterlife will leave you in absolute awe. I will definitely go back there someday.

Skellig Michael in Ireland is amazing. It really took away my breath with the steep cliffs, monastery on top and of course the overly cute puffins. It also happened to be a perfect, sunny day to complete the experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

Never before have I thought of travelling by myself, I'd rather spend time together with friends and share the experience and moments. Once I tried travelling alone I realized it's not as bad as I thought - not at all. I quite enjoyed it actually! You can do whatever you want, whenever you want and for as long as you want. The downside of it is the loneliness that hits you at times.. But then you can always contact other CSs. :)

CouchSurfing is a great way of meeting people. For me it's very hard to start a conversation out of nowhere with a stranger so CS makes it a lot easier for me.
