Current Mission: Maui bound for job interview.

Born and bred Chicagoan. A total cheezeball kid growing up in the 80s/early 90s. I tend to have a deadpan sense of humor that may fly over people's heads but many find it amusing. I love meeting new people! If I sense that you're a trustworthy good spirited individual, I'll have your back for life. I was a vegetarian for 10 years and just went 100% plant-based a few months ago. I recycle, I compost, I don't leave dirty dishes in the sink. I stick up for people that can't defend themselves. Those that know me personally can attest that I'm very trustworthy, reliable, witty, logical, funny and good hearted individual. I love helping people pursue their dreams/passions and be a voice of reason if they need guidance or help transitioning to a healthier lifestyle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Want to immerse myself in other cultures and meeting some of the most unique and amazing individuals across the globe and I've been told using Couch Surf is one of the best tools out there to achieve this!

On a side note - I have plans on moving to Maui, HI this year and have an exam/interview for an emergency services position coming up on 2/23/18. So if all goes well, I'll be moving sooner than expected:). I only have one friend that currently lives in Maui (just recently moved in the fall) but will be out of town during my stay. I'll be staying at the North Shore Hostel When I fly in Thursday night until Saturday but after that I'm on my own. I'm hoping a kind welcoming soul would open their doors during the week of Sunday the 25th through Saturday March 4th as I'll be on a budget but I'm willing to help around your humble abode in any way in exchange for staying there. I'm excited and anxious as I've never been to Hawaii let alone used Couch Surfing, but I know it'll be fun and exciting experience. Wish me luck:)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Besides help resuscitate people back from the unknown, I helped deliver a baby inside of a local convenience store.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach vegan cooking from scratch (i.e. nut milk/cheeze, etc..), how to make your own toothpaste and mouthwash, staining leather with natural oils, how to measure someone's blood pressure, how to tune up your car (oil change, transmission flush, spark plugs, fuel injectors, etc..)

I'd like to learn a new language, philosophy, special hands-on skill I don't already know.
