About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to move to MADRID!

ABOUT ME

-----------------------------------------------------
Alright, here we go:

I'm an easy going and uncomplicated person who grew up in a small village somewhere on the swiss countryside next to forest, hills and cows ;).
But I have left the nest when I was 17 years old and now I am living on my own in a town in the south of Switzerland next to mountains, rivers and ... cows.

I am definitely up for new experiences and discovering new places and things to do, (mostly) following the motto: when you get the opportunity to try something, GO FOR IT (maybe it will never return again)!

I currently work as a conductor, the one on the trains (yes, I am checking tickets, but that's not all) and as a callcenter agent, both for the swiss railways.

I just love travelling! It happens quite often that I'm spending a long weekend somewhere in switzerland or even in europe spontaneously.
Every Trip to another City or Country and every encounter with a new person (especially CSers and other very open-minded persons ;)) enrichs my life and makes my personality stronger. Therefore I think that travelling is the best education for life.

I lost my heart to one particular city and its people, the capital of Spain, Madrid. So I am there from time to time.

Oh yes, one more thing: I often walk very fast. So, be prepared for sightseeing extreme (Just kidding, If I want to, I can also walk in a normal speed ;D).

Interests

-----------------------------------------------------
Photography --> I really like taking pics. I am not very good at it, but I think I am getting better.

Socializing (Party!) --> I just love CS- and Homepartys but in the right company, I am having a blast on every occasion.

Languages --> I am kind of collecting dictionaries, self-study courses, grammar-booklets and other handy things in different langugages ;). I am very interested in this, because it is part of a culture. I think If you really wanna discover a culture, you have to show interest in the language.
Another reason is that communication is very important to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-----------------------------------------------------
I think one of the most amazing and at the same time craziest thing I have done is hitchhiking together with a friend from Lausanne (CH) to Roma (I). We did it to Rome by 7 cars and 1 Truck in 24 hours (including sleeping in the cabin of the truck :D) And I never knew one could get so "seasick" in a truck...

To start my new CS-Year 2009 I went to Paris the 31st of December 2008 in the morning (alone), walked around the city a little bit, partied all night at the CS-NYE with some great people which I just got to know there that evening, hung out in the early morning in front of the Eiffeltower with a nice CS-girl and finally took the first Train back to Switzerland. MY BEST NYE EVER!
-----------------------------------------------------

Teach, Learn, Share

-----------------------------------------------------
TEACH --> Wanna learn some words in German/Swissgerman? Or maybe how to play the panpipes (I usually don't bring my instrument when travelling and I don't have it at home by now, but we can begin the lessons with bottles... ;)) You can also take lessons in making and toss a Pancake :).

LEARN --> Could you tell me about your travel experiences, please??? A real traveller is the best "travelguidebook" I can get ;).
I also recently discovered my interest for self-defense. Do you know some techniques?
Further, I am open for soooo many things to learn... maybe you can teach something really great I don't even know it exists...
