À propos de moi

CURRENT MISSION

I am not currently on a Mission

PHILOSOPHY

Life is just one cup of coffee after another, and don't look for anything else

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

it's all been just great

Centres d'intérêt

I make the beer I drink and fix the bikes I ride. I use open-source and free software on old computers that I put together somewhat badly but still manage to run. I help run the Forest Cafe a non-profit volunteer run art-space and vegetarian cafe.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I went to Berlin ran the Marathon, lived in a treehouse and broke into an abandoned themepark.

I organised a 10-course vegetarian banquet for 200 people. It took 10 hours starting with a screen-printed course through Buckfast sorbet, handmade chocolates, dry iced berries, gazpacho with edible flowers, 3 different types of curry, sushi and ending with an 8 foot wide 'cake' atop a pulpit which the guests went inside of. It was filled with hundreds of cupcakes suspending from the ceiling.

My friends converted a church organ to play midi files from a computer..

"The Waldflöte project is a MIDI retrofit to a 1890s Gray and Davison pipe organ located in the Forest Cafe in Edinburgh. It converts MIDI input into solenoid drive to directly press the keys on one of the manuals - there is no permanent modification to the organ."
