About Me

I respond to all messages I´m receiving! (but I always forget to click on yes or no button). Oups.
I can't host now! Don't send me requests thanks

I'm Lauriane, but call me Nanou. I'm a French girl, living currently close to Copenhagen at this moment and ready to move at any occasion, in the course of meetings and what life could offer. France is my home country, Japan is where my heart is, Danemark is where I want to live. You will guess that these three countries are really present in my life and for different reasons.

When I'm not with my motobike on the road, in music festivals, going to a party with my friends, feeding ducks, cooking a new vegan cake, looking some football competition, getting involved in association for refugees or japanese culture, I'm in charge of web communication for international sport federation located in CPH. Sport is also really present in my life! I'm doing fencing (épée), swimming, running and motobike.

Tell you more in time !
BTW, don't send to me request without tell me the name of my pet duck, I want to be sure that you have read my profile before sending me your request (in the references).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have decided to join Couchsurfing family to meet new people, new kinds of mind and new cultural horizon and do a little way (or more) together :) Maybe an obvious definition of Couchsurfing but the best is coming.

It's almost 2 years than I'm in Couchsurfing and I'm proud to say that all the people I have host/be guest are now my friends, I mean, real friends. I'm used to visit my host/guest or travelling now with them to new horizons. This is my real definition of Couchsurfing. Be prudent, if you send to me a request!

Music, Movies, and Books

Everything can really get in this box ? :)

I'm really into rock and metal and music festivals in general. I have been working for music industry (electronic music) for many years now and I'm used to go to concerts every week. I prefer lives than album and I don't get "favourite" music style, I'm just loving artists with music style.

Music festivals to come: Northside (DK), Heartland (DK), Copenhell (DK), Roskilde (DK), Metal Days (SLV), Rock en Seine (FR)

One of my favourite book is "Le parfum", written by Patrick Süskind. I also like His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman, I have read it when I was super young and it one of the trilogy I can't forget. Have you read Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse? If not, close your computer and go to the closest bookshop.

And for the movies ... so long list ! Try to choose three : Hiroshima mon amour (Resnais), Spirited Away (Miyazaki) and Pulp Fiction (Tarantino). (Can I add The night of the hunter (Laughton) ? )

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Doing surf in Cliffs of Moher in Ireland the 1st november, after Halloween party...
- Eating liquorices in Denmark (yeah dude, it's the worst thing ever, for respect for your stomach, don't try ! :p)
- and so moooore (I never told you about the time when I was in Taiwan and my phone ? ...)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm really curious about other cultures and different ways of life, to learn more about others in general, to understand better myself and how my country is really turning bad about extremist position... Exchanges are in the centre of my life and we have all of us something to share and bring to build together something new one.

What I Can Share with Hosts

With my hosts and guests, I will be very delighted to share my funny English accent, cook the best vegan cake you have been never eat yet, take you drink the best beers, tell you more about a strange addiction for ducks and especially, some little of my folly and last but not least, the simplest things are the most important, aren't them ? :)
