Hey there! My name is Cris and I'm 18 years old. Despite I'm young I have had the opportunity to solo travel several times in my life. I have lived both in Canada and in the U.S (while I was still studying therefore going to a canadian and an american highschool) by myself. This last year I finished my mandatory studies and before I decide which major I want to pursue or if I rather run away with the circus I wanted to give myself some thinking time so I'm on a gap a year right now in which I have travelled a little across Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla, Salamanca, Valladolid, León...) but also lived in París, France as an aupair (if you are not familiar with the term, nanny could be a close synonym) for three months.

I believe in the power of sharing (couch, meals, cultures, experiences, knowledge, good times...) and helping one another and I think this philosophy suits perfectly the spirit behind couchsurfing.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I packed my stuff in a suitcase and moved to Canada by myself when I had just turned 15 years old...now I can't stop myself!

I carry my ukelele with me in most of my travels so I can always (at least try) to teach some chords to my host.

Also I'm passionate about traditional cuisine, so I would love to learn how to make something typical from where you are from or where you live. I can share my own recipes too.

I also love to have long talks about politic and social issues but if you are not feeling like having a deep discussion we maybe could play some Jungle Speed or Kabu (if you don't know this games you NEED to host me because you cannot continue with your life without this on it)
