There is a saying: The greatest sight, is the world! This has become my moto, I want to see as much of the world and meet as many people as I can.

ABOUT ME

I finished the master in English and German at the University of Basel in Switzerland. I love to travel and see the world, the experiences I make and the people I meet are irreplacable. One of the best parts about travelling is coming back home to my friends and my family, who are an important part in my life. Apart from that I am cheerleader and head coach for the Capital Hornets in Bern and love to read, watch movies and go out for a coffe or a night on the town.

PHILOSOPHY

Kurt Marti once wrote: where could we get to, if everyone would ask: where could we get to; and no one would go to see where we could get to, if we would get to? I believe that strangers are friends I haven't met yet and that within we are all the same and share the same planet. It is ideologic thinking but I try to treat everyone as equals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people and also give them the opportunity to stay in a beautiful, but very expensive country.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to every kind of music. With movies it is pretty much the same, however I do prefer action movies.:) The books I read are mostly linguistic for my studies or trivia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot of languages and am always willing to learn a new one. I have already travelled a lot so I guess I have many interesting stories to tell.:)
