ABOUT ME

I moved to Paris six months ago. Many things drew me here, and I'm hoping those same things will compel me to stay. I love hanging out with cool, fun people who don't take themselves too seriously. And I'm not using couch surfers as a dating website - just a way to befriend interesting people, muse over life, and enjoy what this glorious city has to offer.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live i suppose. As a journalist I've been conditioned to consider all perspectives and possibilities and taught the importance of balance and objectivity. Nothing shits me more than people who pontificate and generalise. I consider conversation an opportunity to stimulate the mind and encourage thought - not a chance to spout prejudice and bully others into adopting your point of view.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd love to have a couch to offer travellers - but right now I'm the lodger! I've been really impressed by the CS community after going through some profiles and discovering how accommodating so many people are. I think it's a wonderful thing to open your home to a complete stranger. It entails endless possibility and makes the world a cosier place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've attended parties, cycling, trivia and met loads of fascinating and like-minded people. My experience in Paris has been overwhelmingly positive thanks to Couch Surfers!
