Hi. My name is Krzysztof but most of my international friends just call me Kris. I'm a student of Automatic and Robotics from Wejherowo in Poland. This year I started my international adventure with work at Island Lake Camp in Starrucca, PA, USA and I just can't thing how could I be stuck in Poland for almost 24 years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just starting couchsurfing adventure thx to my friend I met at camp: Joanna Kapala. She found us few places to stay and gave us the bug of couchsurfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All my couchsurfing experience is based on the tales Joanna told me aandour friends in camp. So for know I know how it works and thats it one of the best ways to travel becouse of alee the great people you meet. Fpr example just yesterday my suitcase broke and took it to tailor to fix it about an hour before I had train to airport. She told me thats it's imposible to fix so fast but when she heard hat I'm from overseas and have flight in 2 hours she gave me her old suitcase for free and took my old one to keep it for a year for me. I'm to take it back next time I'm in NYC. How about that makes people grow faith in good heart of humans :)

Interests

I love hanging out with my friends. The more crazy we are in together the cooler the time we spend tpgether is. Mountain climbing, swiming, skiing and hiking. National parks, mountains and oceans are the best things in the world especially when you are in good company.

Music, Movies, and Books

Thats a tough one. And in reality I didn't had anserve for that questions few weeks ago. I needed to go acrose the globe to find it, because what I found I love the most in my life is traveling. Traveling, meeting new people and vistiting places that take or brathe away makes me feel like I don't lack anything in mylife but the person to share my passion with, but I still have time for that :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2009 I went with my 3 friends to Tatry. it's polish mountain range. As one my friends where first times in mountains we and we only had one day to do a little hiking trip we asked our friend to find us a nice pleasent route with great views. When we found a first chain on the route he gave us we were little suprised but though it can't get worse. Well we were wrong. We found out from others hikers that we are on second most advanced and hardest hiking trail in Tatry and we couldn't go back because we were chaised by lighting storm. The trail keep on geting harder and harder, my frien found out that new chain means that the old one broke with someon holding it and that this guy nearly lost his live. That was too much for her and she just switch to little tears of fear to bursting tears and got paralysed in place. It took us good 30 mnutes to calm her and perusade her to keep on moving. Finally after juming over rocka , montain climbng on using chains we got to the peek. The view was stunning, beautiful and deepbreathing. But what remember the most and what Is the most amaizing thing I ever have seen in my life is the look on friends face that just a minute ago was terified, bursting tears but keep mpving forward and now she was standing there on the peek, with the faced that was mix of terryfy, proud in herself and disbelief that she made it. His is the most awsome thing in the world, the power of human heart that keep on moving us forwad.

There is no specific kind of people that I like to meet. I love the act of meeting, getting to know each others, sharing experiences and our stories. Bto if there is something I don't like in people it would be lack of respect too others and I just can't to like people like that.
