Hi! My name's Crista. I'm from the United States, more specifically New Jersey where I grew up and went to school. I studied and lived in Rome, Italy for one semester, where I learned the wonders of travel.
Now I work in Old City, Philadelphia with a media production company. I am planning to move to Philadelphia in the next couple months, and will be able to take guests then!
I couch surfed once before in Madrid, Spain, and I had a wonderful experience. I want to give that experience back to people traveling to my country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think human being's stories can truly inspire, empower, and change people. What a fascinating thing it is to be so different, yet so similar to another person on the planet. I want to be part of this global story exchange.

Interests

Hiking, Running, Dancing! everywhere, exploring, live music, laying on the grass in the middle of a busy city and closing my eyes, painting, cutting vegetables while Italian dinner music plays in background, sitting with my friends in the middle of the night talking about everything and nothing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Budapest, a friend convinced me to hike to the top of the huge hill where the lady liberty statues stands.
We watched the sunset there.
It was calm, and beautiful, and simple, and so amazing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Of course I will always help within the house, such as cooking and cleaning up after myself. I am always respectful of a space being offered to me. I love any opportunity to learn and share stories and experiences.
