I am Cristina from Granada, a very beautiful town in the south of Spain.
I am a primary education teacher and I love travelling all around the world. I was living in Belfast, in Nothern Ireland, Manchester and Bristol, in England. Since that time, I have never stopped travelling, visiting places like the United States, Africa, Asia, all around Europe and who knows what will be next :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on coach surfing because I am a very open mind girl and I enjoy so much a nice conversation with people from anywhere. I am very respectful with culture, nature and religions, and I think that sharing life experiences and travelling make people so rich.

Interests

I love reading. I monthly read the National Geographic magazine and some others about history, photography and travels. I also read novels, education books, psichology and much more.
I always travel with my camera. Photography is much more than a hobbie for me.
I love nature and I enjoy going to the mountain or the beach, practising sports like climbing, trekking, diving...

I LOVE MUSIC! I usually go to live music concerts. My favourite music is rock, reggae, 60s, 70s and 80s, roots, soul, jazz....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have travelled to Ghana, Africa, as a volunteer to teach new teaching methodologies in few schools. It was a wonderful experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am moving with my partner to Portland, Oregon (EEUU) to work as an Spansh Teacher. We will be there for 3 years.
I am very interested in alternative teaching methods, cooperative work, multiple intelligences, mindfulness and teaching from the emotions and feelings of the students.
