ABOUT ME

I'm an enthusiastic person who like to do lots of things at the same time. Sometimes I'm quiet in the beginning, because I prefer to watch and learn, but people says I'm a funny person.

I do my best in kitchen because I think a good meal is the best gift you can give to someone. I'm always learning about new flavors and recipes and I love to improvise.

Sometimes I'm a little nerd and I'm always looking for new topics of conversations because I love to feed my creativity. Share experiences is the best way to learn for me, better than any book.

I try to be conscious about environment and animals, but never is enough and I'm still working on that.

I was born in Valparaíso but since april of 2013 I'm living at Santiago, now I'm leaving in the center, close to heritage sites, nice parks and it isn't noisy at all.

PHILOSOPHY

Honesty and respect are the base of a good relationship with people. In this world all you need is creativity and desire to live, the collaboration is the key. The animals and the environment are not made for explode, is sad how capitalism is killing our lives.

Its good to experiment all kind of things in life but the extremes are always the wrong choice. I like the balance of things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CS is a really good plataform to know nice people or to stay in comfy places and learn about each other at the same time. I love it.

I had just one bad experience with a couchsurfer girl but in the end was funny and now I can laugh about that. In general, CS is the best way to travel and to share experiences.

Interests

I like to share with people who squeeze their creativity.

Music is my passion because I can always explore and apply different areas of the human knowledge with it. For example, u can always relate science, biology or history, with music.

I enjoy going to concerts or festivals, making music with my band and learn about new instruments.

I enjoy the arts in all their perspectives. It's incredible how can you learn putting in context every piece of work.

One thing I consider very attractive is the audiovisual world. I like to watch many movies and documentaries, and make some visual pieces in my free time. Sometimes I work shooting pictures at concerts or cultural activities.

Also I love physics, photography, architecture, philosophy, poetry, journalism, psychology, publicity, marketing, new technologies and ride with my bike.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some favourite movie directors are: David Cronenberg, Tarantino, Woody Allen, Darren Aronofsky, Christopher Nolan, Cameron Crowe, Sofia Coppola, Danny Boyle, Robert Zemeckis and Alejandro Jodorowsky.

Some documentaries you've to see: Marley, about Bob Marley. Samsara of Ron Fricke and Living in the Material World, about George Harrison.

Good inspiration in photography: Annie Leibovitz and Danny Clinch.

Chilean poets are very interesting: Gonzalo Rojas is my favourite. Claudio Bertoni, Pablo Neruda, Enrique Lihn, Vicente Huidobro and Nicanor Parra are nice too.

Music?: I can't answer that in few sentences, but The Beatles -and all that their member have done- will always be first.

You always can learn things about any people. For sure we can share a good conversation and we'll find something interesting in the end.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Nice meals and walks if we have time to spend together. I love coffee and I've got a good coffee machine so that's is on the list of things I can share with you. My place is in a nice neighborhood and it has a really good view.
