Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm from Colombia, an amazing country full of lovely people, but there's something... we grow up in a mistrustful society, especially towards people we’ve never met.

I felt really awkward the first time I stayed at a Couchsurfing host’s home, but my host said after we met, "I'm going to work, you'll be alone. This is your home, so enjoy and rest. See you tomorrow to show you the city." It was like all my beliefs about how people behave were shattered in one phrase. How can someone be so kind and trustworthy??? Since that moment, my view about travel and people totally changed.

Since then, I've been traveling as a way to discover myself and better understand our world. I've been absorbing all those experiences, trying to be a better human—someone more empathetic, conscious, and, above all, grateful for what I have.

Im a coffee producer & Exporter based in Germany, I have a wide experience in this industry, from bean to cup.
