Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I come from a simple family (finantially) and all my relatives live in Portugal. But I'm trying that does not prevent me too see the world and meet new people and cultures :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a big fan of "old music" =P The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Queen, The Beach Boys, Johnny Cash, The Smiths...
But also like some actual rock, sometimes more alternative, like: Kodaline, The XX, Foo Fighters, Lykke Li, Queens of the Stone Age, The Black Keys, and others.

I feel very uncultured about cinema but some of my favorites movies are: Drive, Midnight in Paris, Le Fabuleux Destin d´Amélie Poulain, Life of Pi, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, The Book Thief, The Help, Into the Wild, etc.

I love classical and fantasy literature. I try to read a lot of books from portuguese writers and Nobel Prizes in Literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Coming to Germany to do an Erasmus Traineeship. I'm feeling like the most lucky person ever to do an Erasmus: everyone is being so nice, the germans have a really good english, the food is great and you see nature everywhere :D

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want, I can teach you about:
- The culture of my country, the best places to visit and the beautiful Portuguese language
- A little bit about the culture and places to visit in Germany and some words in German
- Basic tips for beginners in photography
- All the different groups of fossils that existed during the earth history (I’m very geek, I know xD)!
Also, I can search about the geology of the place where you live and explain it to you :)

I would like to learn nearly everything that I can from you: some words in a different language, new recipes or advices for life! Really :)

And I can assure you that you will never find a boring Portuguese person! So, I’m sure that we can share some nice and funny moments :D

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook some healthy food - I think that this is the most important part xD
Also, I’m great with kids (I have 2 brothers, a godson and a goddaughter and I’m used to babysitting the kids of some friends x) ), I love dogs and I can get well with cats xD

And we definitively should take some pictures to save the memories: I always have my camera with me :)
