About Me
ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Cristian. I’m a calm, respectful, and open-minded person who loves traveling to experience cultures, people, and different ways of life — not just to tick places off a list.
I’ve lived and worked in several countries, and I always try to be a considerate guest. When I host, I enjoy making people feel comfortable, welcome, and at home.
I’m a speech therapist by training and worked for many years with people with neurological conditions. At the moment, I’m working in the hospitality industry in Australia.
I enjoy good conversations, sharing meals, going out for a beer, eating out, and trying new foods. I also like walking around, cycling, and discovering local spots that don’t always appear in tourist guides. At the same time, I really value personal time and respecting each other’s space — balance is important to me.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that everything happens for a reason and that every experience, even the difficult ones, brings a lesson that helps us grow.
I strongly believe in mutual respect and equality. Everyone is welcome here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started using Couchsurfing in 2014 during a trip to Brazil, which turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life. Through Couchsurfing, I’ve had the chance to meet people from all over the world, both as a guest and as a host.
I’ve been very lucky along the way and have collected many great memories from the experiences shared through this community. Couchsurfing has played an important role in how I travel and connect with people, and I truly value the meaningful exchanges it makes possible.
Interests
I’m interested in traveling, learning languages, learning from people, and having conversations about many different topics.
I enjoy walking through cities and getting a little lost — I believe that’s when you really get to know a place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve traveled to different countries, but one of the experiences that amazed me the most was visiting Machu Picchu twice, six years apart, each time taking a different 4- or 5-day route. I’ve also loved snorkeling on coral reefs and discovering cultures that are completely different from my own.
