About Me

I'm a visiting PhD student at the University of Melbourne.
Italian born and raised: grew up in Naples, lived in Bologna for several years.
For family reasons I've been regularly going to Thailand ever since I was born, plus I spent a one-year university exchange in Sydney, Australia.

I'm an anthropology and contemporary art student in Indigenous Australian visual cultures.

I'm a fairly decent guitar player so if you're traveling with an instrument we can totally jam!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Having travelled for a consistent part of my life I understand feelings, needs, uncertainities of travellers and backpackers; therefore Couchsurfing is a very effective way to bring ease to whoever is venturing far from home.

Interests

Art, music, cinema, literature, journalism, politics, social issues.
Travelling, discovering places, expanding knowledges and consciousness, getting in touch with different cultures and backgrounds.

"The journey not only broadens the mind, it shapes the mind"
Bruce Chatwin, Anatomy of Restlessness (1996)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Night kayaking in the glowing waters of Bay of Islands, New Zealand

What I Can Share with Hosts

Both if hosting or hosted, I can guarantee full reliability, I can share my knowledge about the place I live in and about my travel experiences. I can cook pretty decently and try to help out the best I can.
This is all about meeting each other, it might get us feeling the blue when we split up after a journey, but rhetorically enough life itself is a journey, prompting us to believe that doesn't matter how alone we may feel, the world will always result to be tinier than it seems.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Croatia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, San Marino, Slovenia, Thailand, United Kingdom, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In
