About Me

New to Couch Surfing!!

Soy una latina! I was born and raised in Honduras, now I'm living in Germany, and traveling the world!

I am an aspiring poet and writer, collecting memories.

Having a tale that is trying to escape my fingers is both exhilarating and excruciatingly painful, when I cannot seem to fathom the right words. I am an artist that paints words on the canvas inside each individual's mind. I choose the pigment of infinite colors I want to portray through words that illustrate the arrangement of strokes in my imagination. I am more than merely a poet, I am the poem itself. I am not a one word sentence, but a myriad of stanzas accumulated to form a narrative poem about the life this aspiring writer is living.

Edgar Allan Poe once expressed, “I would define, in brief, the poetry of words as the rhythmical creation of Beauty." Words are a celestial gift that were sprinkled from stars. Words, hold a force that makes them immortal through time and space. The words that I find the most beautiful are poetry, culture, and fire.

I take pictures in my mind of my experiences in life, to inspire me to write my first and everlasting book.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want a life worth living.

I keep going from one adventure to the other, to tell my grandkids that life is not meant to be spent in one place.

Home is not a house, it may not even be a place or a person. Home is wherever you want it to make it. At this point in my life, I am a free bird flying in search of blissfulness.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to every type of music. My Spotify playlist are all over the place! For dancing- Reggaeton, Merengue (obviously I am Latina! what else would I listen to?) For chilling - alternative, indie. Sometimes, I go the mainstream way and listen to pop (sorry not sorry)!

Shakira is the Beyoncé for the Latinas. Shakira is queen, Shakira is life.

Lana del Rey! Her music has inspired me many time throughout my life. It has helped me with my writing, with my emotions, with everything.

"1984" by George Orwell, is a book that has impacted the way a perceive and view the world. It has made me rethink many things in life, and I guess it has turned out to be my favorite one so far.

Sci-Fi movies are honestly the best.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I left everything behind to travel the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can speak fluent Spanish and English
I can speak German, and I am improving it.

I would like to teach others about my culture and learn about theirs as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share with hosts the dreams that I want to pursue, and that I will conquer. Also, sharing mutually our origins, culture, heritage, language, and way of thinking is always a fascinating idea.

The skill that I am most passionate about, is my love for learning languages. My first language is the beautiful Spanish language. A language that is not only useful, but rich in literature and rhythm. Entre más idiomas aprendo, más aprecio el idioma con el que crecí, y con el que hablo con más facilidad. El idioma español es una melodía fascinante para cualquiera que lo escuche. I graduated from a bilingual school, in which I've been learning Spanish and English since I was three years old, and most of my courses were taught in English. I often look at English as if it were my first language, since I read, write and think most of the time in it. Two years ago, I started learning German, and now I can speak and understand it well, and I am improving it nonetheless. My goal is to master the German language, a language in which I have fun finding out how complicated it is!
