About Me

ABOUT ME

My name is Cristina and I am a Texan who has been living in Minnesota for 10 years and I LOVE the cold. I am a graduate of the U of M Guthrie Theater BFA Actor Training Program, and I have been perusing acting and playwriting since I left school.

I have an older brother named Joe who is the coolest person I know. He's a bowler, and he was born mentally challenged. He teaches me patience and joy every day. (And he's just hilarious.) My mother is extremely intelligent and adorable. She makes everything possible. These two live not too far from Minneapolis and I love having them close enough to visit.

I don't like eating coconut or watching tennis. I love reading plays! Some favorite playwrights are Suzan Lori-Parks, Stephen Adly Guirgis, David Lindsay-Abaire, Anton Chekhov, Martin McDonagh, Nilo Cruz and Shakespeare.

PHILOSOPHY

Always tell the people you love that you love them.
There is something beautiful to admire, appreciate and at the very least respect about everyone who crosses your path.
We as a species don't dance enough.
You don't find yourself, you make yourself.
I'm very open with my history and experiences, because maybe if I'm not afraid to share myself then others will feel free to share themselves with others as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked to the top of a ridiculously steep hill in Florence Italy and sat in the San Miniato al Monte listening to Italian monks Gegorian chant as I watched the sunset.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to make some delicious chicken enchiladas - the way my Dad used to make them.
I can recite Shakespeare and Nueruda sonnets to you.
I can French braid your hair.

I love to learn traditional dances.
I'd love to get book suggestions of current authors who are popular in your country/state/city.

Countries I’ve Visited

England, France, Ireland, Italy
