We are Cristina and Lucas, a Spanish couple living in Yukon (Canada) and traveling around the world.
Our life philosophy is very simple: Life is very short, live in the present and focus on what really matters.
Time is the most valuable thing a man can spend so we try to spend it on things that we really love, like traveling.
We are very easy going and both have passion for nature, food and learning about different cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: We like listening all kind of music but some of our bands are Foo Fighters, Muse and Sigur Ros.
Movies: We don't like plain love stories but other than that we enjoy watching many different types of movies, thrillers, Sci-fi, post apocalyptic ...
Books: We always carry a book with us, Lucas loves History books. The last one he has read is "Sapiens" (a brief history of human kind) and I prefer reading books of adventures, especially the ones based on true stories. I just finished reading "El Rio de La Luz" ( "River of light", the adventures of a Spanish writer in the Yukon, Canada).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1-Meeting each other: Yeah, it's cheesy but it's amazing! :) And we met in Canada:)
2-Moving to Canada: One of the best decisions ever!
3-Tree planting: If you want to challenge yourself physically and mentally, you should try it!
4-Skydiving: oh man! no words!
5-Living in the Yukon Territory (North of Canada): The land of the midnight sun, amazing!
6-Canoeing in the Yukon River: it felt like being in a National Geographic movie. We were able to see moose, wolves, foxes, beavers, bears...while canoeing
7-Safari in South Africa: this is mandatory for all animal lovers.
8-Seeing the Northern lights: speechless! one of the most beautiful nature's spectacles.

Opps...it was just ONE thing!

Teach, Learn, Share

We are not Master Chefs but we can cook delicious Spanish food and we can share our adventures in Canada and the rest of the world with you. Maybe it's a good chance for you to learn some Spanish! ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can share many stories and adventures of our trips and life in the "True North" of Canada, Yukon.
We can also share interesting things about our Spanish culture and teach some Spanish.
