Queer polyglot lover of cycling, eating and dancing.

I grew up on the Spanish coast in Alicante and then moved to Bristol when I was 14. This was quite a big move for me but taught me a lot. Since then I have realised just how much there is to learn about different cultures and try to travel whenever I get an opportunity.

I have couched surfed many times, in Barcelona, Berlin, Zurich, Venice and Morocco, Marseille and have hosted in Southampton, Paris, Bristol and Lyon a few times which was just as fun!

Intereses

I studied French and politics at university: two interests. I did an MA in Gender Studies: another interest. I like photography and have recently started giving 35mm a go which is fun, will be sure to take it everywhere I go now (I seem to easily forget things unless I photograph them). I love languages and I am very interested in social issues. I also really really really like dancing.

Favorite authors are Woolf and Beauvoir. I also enjoy Orwell, Joyce, Susan Sontag, Hemingway, Sylvia Plath, Kafka, Camus, Sartre and Nabokov.
Music wise, I was quite into electronic music last year but the passion has somewhat died since being in France. Radom musicians that spring to mind...Massive attack, Portishead, La femme, Warpaint, Lykkie Li, Laura Marling, Barbara, The supremes, Nicolas Jaar.

Hicked down a mountain into a beautiful beach in the South of Turkey (butterfly valley) and got scrubbed down by a Moroccan woman for my 20th birthday
