Hola mundo!

Soy una chica que gusta de la buena vibra, transparente, muy curiosa y que intenta llevar la vida lo más relajado y divertida (a mi medida) posible. Me considero una persona tranquila con una vida tranquila pero al mismo tiempo aventurera.

Soy internacionalista y profesora de idiomas por lo que siempre tengo la curiosidad de explorar nuevas culturas y formas de pensar, es impresionante lo que puedes aprender pero sobretodo lo rico que puedes comer del otro lado del mundo!

Me gusta mucho hablar, reir y conocer gente aunque debo confesar que no soy la chica que sale todos los fines de semana de fiesta loca (aunque AMO bailar), pero sí la que gusta de ir por un trago/café, caminar sin rumbo (especialmente esto), comer algo rico y hablar hasta que llegue una invasion extraterrestre y deba detenerme por que solo eso salvará a la humanidad…

Crecí en la costa de diferentes ciudades de México por lo que no tengo un origen en específico, estoy habituada a adaptarme a diferentes culturas. Mente abierta y respeto siempre me acompañan en mis aventuras. Ah, y me gusta el mar.

Siempre te encontraré con la sonrisa más enorme y real que puedo ofrecer pues CS me ha permitido encontrar amistades muy valiosas, historia real.

ABOUT ME

Hello World!

I am a girl who is into good vibes, transparent, and a very curious person who tries to lead life as relaxed and fun (in my way) as possible. I consider myself a calm person with a calm life, but at the same time adventurous.

I am an internationalist and a language teacher so I am always into explore new cultures and ways of thinking, it is impressive how much you can learn from another culture and how delicious you can eat on the other side of the world!

I really like to talk, laugh and meet new people, but I must confess I'm not the girl who goes out every single weekend to party hard (although I LOVE to dance), I'm the one who likes to go for a drink/coffee, to walk aimlessly ( especially this), to eat something delicious or to talk until an alien invasion comes to us and I have to stop because that´s the only way to safe humanity... 👀

I grew up on the coast in different cities of Mexico so I do not have a specific origin, I am used to adapt to different cultures (Mexico is very large and diverse country). Open mind and respect always come with me in ever single adventure I have . Oh, and I love the sea :)

I will always meet you with the biggest and most real smile that I can offer, CS has allowed me to find very valuable friendships, true story.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mi participación en CS comenzó en el sudeste asiático y continuó dentro de México, pareciera que ha sido pequeña mi participación pero yo diría que ha sido diferente, pues la mayoría de las personas recibidas en casa fueron mayoritariamente aceptadas con la cuenta de mi roomie dado que mi trabajo no me permitía poder ofrecer lo mejor como host, sin embargo siempre estoy dispuesta a ayudar en lo que pueda a los viajeros como, muchos de ellos hoy día ya son mis amigos y con eso mi corazón es feliz :)

Mi casa es tu casa pero realmente apreciaría muchísimo que si fumas, no lo hagas dentro de casa y nada me haría más feliz que jugaras con mis mascotas.

My participation in CS started in Southeast Asia as a first experience and later on in my own country. It also could seem to be small, but I’d say my participations has been different, most of the people staying at home were mostly accepted by my roommate's account since my job didn’t allow me to be the best as a host, however I’m happy to help travelers like me and to say many of them are my friends today :)

“Mi casa es su casa” but I really, really appreciate if you smoke, don't do it inside the house or nearby me because it makes me sick, and nothing would make me happier than you playing with my pets!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

JAMAS he tenido una mala experiencia en CS, todas, absolutamente todas han sido increíbles y SIEMPRE me he sentido muy apoyada por la comunidad. Quizás suena muy optimista de mi parte pero siempre tengo esta sensación de conocerlos de hace mucho tiempo.

Disfruto mucho de viajar sola por qué me parece la mejor manera de conocer la verdadera esencia del lugar sin importar que tan popular pueda ser, su gente hace el lugar.

Me encanta encontrar que nuestras diferencias culturales nos lleven a querer intercambiar nuestro tiempo y pensamientos.

I have NEVER had a bad experience in CS, absolutely all of them have been incredible and ALWAYS felt very supported by the community. Maybe this sounds very optimistic but so far, I feel like knowing the people I’ve known from a very long time ago.

I really enjoy traveling solo because I think is the best way to get to know the real essence of the place no matter how popular the place may be. People makes the place.

I love the way we are so much different but willing to exchange thoughts and time discovering how much alike we actually are.

Interests

Disfruto mucho de la naturaleza por lo que me gusta el senderismo, conquistar pequeñas montañas o largos senderos que lleven a algún lugar mágico después de horas de caminata.

Tambien me gusta mucho nadar y la vida marina. Amo ir a la playa, todos los días corro por la playa acompañada de mis 2 perritas, pero también lo hacen en ocasiones un libro o una cerveza.

¡¡Me encanta bailar salsa!! No soy una experta pero pertenezco a un pequeño club de salsa en mi ciudad con el cual me divierto muchísimo. Amo bailar, especialmente ritmos latinos.

A pesar de que me gusta estar en actividad todo el tiempo, me gusta mucho el cine y muy regularmente voy al cine.

Trabajé algunos años en la aviación así siempre tengo algo que contar del tema.

I love nature so hiking, conquering small mountains or long trails that lead to some magical place after hours of walking are some of the activities I do in my spare time.

I also really like swimming and marine life. Every day I run along the beach accompanied by my 2 small dogs, but sometimes a book or a beer can be my plus one.

I LOVE SALSA!! I am not an expert but I belong to a small salsa club in my city which I have a lot of fun with. Truly love dancing, specially latin rhythms.

Even when I like to be active all the time, I also like watching movies and go to the movie theater quite often.

I worked for a few years in aviation and so there’s always something to say about that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Me gusta cocinar, no soy experta pero nadie se ha quejado. Trato de ser lo más útil posible pues se lo que es tener un invitado en casa. Al viajar no siempre cuento con itinerario pues intento adecuarme a lo que me ofrece la ciudad y por supuesto a las personas que conozco.

Soy maestra de español asi que puedes preguntarme lo que quieras, me encanta enseñar mi propio idioma.

I like cooking, I am not an expert but nobody has complained about it. I try to be as helpful as possible because I know what it's like to have a guest at home. When traveling I don't always have an itinerary because I try to adapt myself to what the city offers and of course to the people I meet.

I am a Spanish teacher so you can ask me whatever you want, I love teaching my own language <3
