CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME
I really love to travel and discover new places and ways of life. I have been living more than 2 1/2 years abroad (Australia, Mexico, Ecuador, Central America, England), and sonce January 2015 my boyfriend and I moved back to Durham, England. I like to speak and learn foreign languages and communicate with people from all over the world:)
I studied Spanish & English literature and linguistics and Psychology and I am currently looking for a job here in the North East of England.
I'm very active, I like to do sports and go out:) With me you will never get bored!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE
We are living in an old miner's house close to the city centre in Durham. We have a guest room with a double bed which we offer to visitors.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've slept on several couches all over the world (also on floors, at beaches, in a truck, on hammocks etc.) but never through CouchSurfing.com. But I am sure that one day I'll try thisout as well:-)

I love to learn more about the world. But I also love to do exciting things, travel, meet friends and do sports.

Music, Movies, and Books
Right now I am crazy about Audible. Whenever I have time (whilst getting ready in the morning, washing up, cycling, driving ...) I listen to a audio book. I try not to listen to two books in the same language in a row but to switch between books in English, Spanish and Italian.
We also love to watch movies with Apple TV and we are always happy to get movie suggestions from friends:-)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spontaneously I would say that I am very proud of deciding to leave everything behind in Switzerland and start something completely new in England. People might not believe this but we indeed had a culture shock but it is also very exciting:-)
Teach, Learn, Share
There is so much to learn about the world. That's why I love interesting discussions with friends or my boyfriend. I also regularly watch the news to be informed about that is happening.
I am also thinking about doing a second Master in business administration, management or marketing & communications.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can offer a double bed (2 people), dinner, breakfast and if I don't have to work, I am happy to show you around the lovely city centre, a run along the river or a pub crawl.
