ABOUT ME

I am one of a kind; I have a unique global perspective: I Think Different I Do Different,people say I ask the difficult questions, I don't know what that is, I ask questions if I need.

I don't care about what "others" can say about me, I don't mess with people's lives, I am not curious, I never offend or harm someone, I expect the same treatment.
Life is gorgeous and there is no second time, so look the positive side and don't get lost with negative emotions.

Everything can be solved, except death and taxes,as we say in Portugal.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live.

I like to help, I am not curious, I couldn't care less about other people's lives, as long as they do not "collide with mine". I volunteer a lot, I love to meet people from all places, I grew as a human being because I learned early in life that I need to respect other cultures and people, and not pass judgement. I was not born in those cultures, I have different values and perspectives,but if we manage to accept we are different but can live in the same world without fighting, we all win. Of course I am not naive and wars are a different issue, money is the driver.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am ready to the next visitor, I have been so lucky with the people I met so far!

When I was younger there was something called "Inter-Rail"; I did not miss a chance, Couch Surfing is a great idea.

When we meet different cultures, people, races, creeds, stories, we grow.

How can I name just a few books when I read so many? I love reading, I love poetry.

Music- I studied piano and "bel canto",I love Opera, piano concerts, orchestras, jazz, all kind of music that is music and not just "fake" music
Movies, I like some directors, like Michael Moore, Almodovar ,Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick, Martin Scorsese, Akira Kurosawa, Federico Fellini, David Lynch, Milos Forman, Francois Truffaut, Quentin Tarantino, Yasujiro Ozu, Luchino Visconti, Victor Fleming, Bernardo Bertolucci, Fassbinder, and on and on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteer work with very ill people all my life and a couple of odd situations I managed to control and get out of them alive and kicking.

I can teach laughing, I could do with some teaching about not being so absent minded
