One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived on a deserted island for 3 months while helping with a research project on Blue Footed Boobies, watching the whales migrate every day, watching the most astonishing sunsets, listening to birds all day, and being so close to our raw nature, puts life in perspective.
Another great memory is when I had the amazing opportunity to see a leather back turtle come out of the ocean to lay her eggs. In that moment I fell in love with these amazing creatures, and ever since I want to dedicate my time to keep them from extinction. (ambitious? not at all... haha)
When I visited South Africa, I met a very special person in the market. She introduced me to her family and her culture in a very rural town near Durban. I am so glad I could meet such great people.
