ABOUT ME

I'm a 28-year old (almost 29, sigh!) Italian girl!I lived in London for 2 years, but I had to come back to Italy for work reasons and now I live and work in Milan!I have worked for a couple of years as a research scientist , at the moment I am doing my PhD in Neuroscience!

PHILOSOPHY

I think my personal philosophy is also my mission in life...doing what you like is freedom...liking what you do is happiness!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started using CS when I arrived in London and I've kept using it ever since!CS just allowed me to meet amazing people and do funny and great experiences!I used CS to find a place to stay just once for my two-day trip to the Peak District, it was my first surfing experience and I really enjoyed it, so I'd like to do it again in the future!In the meanwhile I keep using CS to find and join any kind of events, just to have fun, meet new people and make new friends!Thanks to CS I've already met amazing friends with whom I can share my interests and unforgettable moments!Still, when I will have the opportunity I would really like to host other couchsurfers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done just one surfer experience so far!A two-day trip to Peak District (Derbyshire, UK) in September 2013!I was hosted by a very nice couple!I had a great time with them!

I have a lot of interests!My first hobby is photography...I have a brand new Canon DSLR and my favourite subjects are landscapes and hidden treasures here and there scattered anywhere!!!!I love cooking, I found it really relaxing!I enjoy cooking any kind of meal, from starters, to main courses or deserts!I'm really good at preparing Italian pizza!I also like reading books, even if now that I'm trying to read books in English the all business is getting tough!!!Then, I think I like doing whatever other common people do, for instance watching tv and movies or series, listening to music, travelling all around the world..and just having fun with friends!uuuuu yup, I was about to forget that I love playing my guitar, and even if I am not cut out for that, I just keep doing it, the sound of music is always the best way to fill the silence :D

I'm a huge music fun, I grew up listening punk and rock music!When I was younger Nirvana used to be my favourite grunge band!Now my heart is in love with The Cure!I like reading books as well, mainly thriller/horror stories, but also detective or adventure novels!My favourite writers are Andrea Camilleri, Daniel Pennac and Joe Lansdale!And what can I say about movies???I just say that David Lynch is one of my favourite directors!!!
