Hi!

I'm Cristina from Catalonia. I was born and raised in a little village located in the centre of the country. I currently live in the same little village I grew up in, having lived in Edinburgh for around 5 years where I worked as an au-pair/nanny. I work as a nurse in a nursing home and I'm also studying to become an early childhood educator since I love children and anything to do with early years education.
I have a cute little dog I love called Pruna that I adopted more than 2 years ago after I found her abandoned in the street. Together we go for walks around the area, which is one of my favourite things to do as I love being in touch with nature.
In July 2018 I walked el Camino de Santiago Primitivo (Way of St James) from Oviedo to Finistere, which was a great experience that I repeated again on 2019 but walking the Portuguese way from Porto. I started my journey all alone and I ended meeting with lots of people and making really good friends with unexpected people along the way.
I've always been very interested in other languages and cultures, anthropology and linguistics being in my 'career path wishlist', so I guess that's why I'm here... To make it easier to experience and learn more about the places I travel to seeing them through the eyes of locals and travelers from other parts of the world alike.
