ABOUT ME

I grew up on the east coast and have been living west of the Mississippi since 2008 and most recently moved from South Lake Tahoe, CA to start graduate school in Fort Collins, CO. I like having a creative and active life, which includes traveling for various outdoor adventures, cooking new things, alpine lake swimming, and learning new hobbies.

Interests

I am drawn to the outdoors and my life choices reflect that. I am a field biologist and spend most of my time going through dichotomous keys to correctly identify plants. I like having new experiences, rock climbing, riding my bicycle to work, swimming in as many lakes as I can, camping, cooking, and making skirts and aprons out of recycled clothing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Just yesterday, snow fell on me while I sat in a natural hot spring. It was surreal.
2. I am always amazed by my work. Sometimes, I look around the granite mountains and think "I actually get PAID to do this!"
