About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live simply and small, to taste the world, to laugh and love and be friendly.
ABOUT ME
I like to listen to and play music,(mostly guitar, but some drums too,) I like to walk the slackline, run around outside, out in the country, climb stuff, run around out in the city, climb stuff. I'm not really interested in the way most people live, trying to figure out something else....not really sure what to do, but just kind of living in the struggle I suppose. Using the struggle to propel me out maybe...
PHILOSOPHY
I try not to be judgmental, just makes me feel more judged myself. I try not to worry because it doesn't help you find a solution nor deal with a problem. I certainly do both of those things sometimes, even though i try not too. I'd love to save the world, but have no idea how nor how much good can really be done outside of the good one can do within their personal circle. Things have gone pretty far with this whole civilization experiment...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am new to this actually, so I haven't done anything through the website, although I have been traveling a decent amount this past year. Thought this site might offer some new things to a traveler, and I would love to host friendly, interesting people passing through the Lone Star state.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Well I spent 2 and a half months sleeping on floors and couches, staying with friends and family on the pacific coast and the Bay Area, getting around with a little hitching. Oregon was one of the most beautiful places I've seen, save possibly Mexico. Also spent 5 weeks on mostly couches and floors playing guitar in a band touring the U.K. I'm comfortable just about anywhere.
Interests
Traveling, music, movies, playing guitar, rudimentary acrobatics, anything cool someone can do with their body, books, some video games but not too many, some television but not too much...

Music, Movies, and Books
I like a lot of critically "good" movies, and some really dumb ones a lot too, as long as there's something unformulaic about them.
My favorite movie is Fantastic Planet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The only thing that comes to mind is swimming in a freezing underground pond in this cave in Mexico. Gollum had to be around somewhere...
Teach, Learn, Share
I play some guitar, some drums, I love to teach and play with people. We could set up the slackline and get a little tightrope-like action going on. I had a friend walk across the whole thing after 2 hours. I'm down for just about anything, stretching, handstands, smash bros...you name it.
