CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to make Prospect Records (the record label I own) a very successful company. I want to help promote great punk rock bands and get my music out all over the world.

ABOUT ME

My name is Chris Martin but my close friends call me Critta. I love music and art. Currently I am running my own record label called Prospect Records. What I do is find and promote good punk rock bands and give them a chance to be heard.
I am 21 years old and eager to see the world. I love traveling and checking out different states and soon enough I hope to travel to different countries and experience life in a new establishment.
I love my friends to death. We do pretty amazing things sometimes. Even if we just sit around and watch TV we somehow make it into a fun experience.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone should treat each other they way they'd like to be treated. I don't like it when people judge people over dumb little things. I accept everyone for who they are. The world would be boring if everyone was the same. I guess you could consider me a free spirit of sorts. I don't really take what people tell me I rather just learn from experience.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to couch surf. I don't know much about this site besides what my friend Edwin Cabrera tells me. He couch surfed once when he went to Chicago and can't stop talking about the great experience he had and all the great new people he met. I hope I can get that same experience when I couch surf!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My only experience in Couch surfing is the stories my friend has told me. I never heard of this site before he went to Chicago but after he came back it seems it's the only thing he talks about. I plan on going to Philly on Spring Break just to get away from same old city I live and experience something new.

Interests

Music is my biggest interest. I hope to someday be able to live off my record label and work full time on it signing and putting out talent that true fans of Hardcore music would love.
Aside from music I love films. My friends and I are all film buffs and we constantly catch ourselves telling each other about a movie we watched and then watching movies we haven't watched as a group.
I also like talking about weird things. I like talking about existentialism a lot and even conspiracy theories. Things of that nature really interest me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

More recently I went cross country from Lynn Massachusetts to Las Vegas to drop of a car. I've always wanted to go cross country and finally got to do it. I passed by so many different states getting to see many different cities on my way through.
Another amazing thing that I still do now is getting to hear amazing bands and signing them then promoting them. My hope is to discover a band that makes it big in the hardcore world. To take credit for something like that would be amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell you what I have been taught so far. So far I've been taught that couchsurfing isn't just a social network site or a place to stay. It's way more. Couchsurf is a community, a family of people who take care of one another and welcomes them into their homes. Couchsurf is a place to laugh with strangers and create new friendships. I can't wait to see what couchsurf has in store for me.
