Overview
About Me
We are a family of 4 including a 6 and 4 year old. We love being outdoors and make the most of living so close to the mountains with weekends full of hiking and skiing! We are also lucky enough to live in a fertile valley full of fresh agriculture and plenty of wineries and breweries.
PHILOSOPHY
Walk with empathy. Live every moment to the fullest. Love yourself. Make a difference in the world. Pick your priorities.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Before settling in Yakima, Corinna spent multiple years traveling through and living in Latin America. As a family we are always looking for affordable ways to continue to travel with our kids. We also love our chosen home and love to share our passion for Yakima Valley!
Interests
Corinna is passionate about farm worker healthcare in the valley. We have a close to 50% Latino population in Yakima and so having a thriving Mexican culture full of amazing food and community celebrations. David is passionate about being a dad and staying active. We both choose to spend our free time in outdoors as much as possible whether its at yoga in the vineyard (where we met!) or escaping for an overnight next to a river in the mountains. We also spend much of our winter at our local ski mountain, White Pass.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There are too many amazing moments to count from my years traveling through Latin America, from glaciers of Patagonia to salsa dancing in Colombia. But falling in love, creating a home, and starting a family has been an amazing adventure of a different kind!
Teach, Learn, Share
Things we may be able to share: English and Spanish language practice. Women's health, public health, childbirth education. Everything about the Pacific Northwest. Beer and hops tours and education. Lots of outdoor recommendations! Fresh goat milk and cheese. Baby cuddles.
