to be a human bean... i'm in shanghai at the moment!

ABOUT ME

a bit of a nomad, though inadvertently... i grew up in hong kong and toronto, went to college just north of new york city, lived in new york thereafter, then returned to hong kong with a brief spell in shanghai.

i did communications work at a nonprofit before going into publishing then web development, and now i work at a startup! i hope to eventually get an MFA in writing.

PHILOSOPHY

i believe that lots of things are a formality, including:
nation-states and borders
real teeth (why do we have them? all they do is get cavities)
the final rounds of scrabble

i also believe that everybody has their own beautiful trajectory.
