ABOUT ME

I'm a former analyst for Capital One in Washington, D.C. I worked there for a little over a year before taking some time off to travel full time. I was a competitive gymnast through college, competing at the highest level of the sport. Now I just flip around for fun and hope I don't hurt myself. I love exploring, spending time outdoors, reading, and learning about anything new.

I want to see the world, and to me that means seeing the people of the world. Couch surfing seems like a great way to meet new people and get a better understanding of the cultures of the countries I'm visiting. I'm a fairly social person, and I'm very close to my family, so I like the idea of getting to meet people who are eager to share their home, their experiences, and their culture with me.

兴趣

I love to cook, but probably love eating even more. One of my favorite things to do is to try something I've never tasted before. I did gymnastics my whole life, so I love to stay active. I like running, hiking, swimming, scuba diving, and simply spending time outside. I love exploring new places and experiencing new cultures.

I'm not very picky about music. I tend to listen to whatever makes me happy at the time. Sometimes that's showtunes, sometimes that's country, but often it's simply whatever is currently popular on the radio. I enjoy reading a lot. I love Harry Potter, Game of Thrones series, as well as more realistic fiction from authors like Jeffrey Archer and David Baldacci. I'm currently working my way through some of the "classics" I missed in high school. My favorite movie of all time is The Sound of Music, but really I most like watching movies I haven't seen before.

I went scuba diving in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and reached depths of more than 90 ft. We passed the thermocline where there was a very distinct drop in water temperature (that you could even see) of about 12 degrees Fahrenheit.

I've done gymnastics my whole life and even coached some, so I always love helping people with anything from a forward roll to a handstand to a standing back flip. I love to cook and bake and would consider myself pretty good at both, so I'm always willing to participate in either activity.

I can cook, bake, clean, babysit, walk dogs, act as running partner, entertain with acrobats, and probably other things I haven't thought of.
