About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To share great times with cool people.
ABOUT ME
I'm a 24 year old saxophonist. I'm social and enjoy having a great time with my friends (and people I've just met). I don't mind time alone, practicing my music, painting, writing, gardening or being generally creative, but I love my precious friends and spending time with them. I'm a bloody hopeless romantic too, which is actually more of a hindrance! I've been told I'm funny, but there's heaps funnier out there I'm sure, you decide for yourself. Oh, and I love to cook...
PHILOSOPHY
Hmm... I guess I'm still trying to hone this... hopefully CS will help me in this regard!
"There is no failure, except in not trying"
"The best way to do something, is to DO it!"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm only just getting started with this whole thing, I plan to see how it works being a surfer and then hopefully open my couch to the world upon my return home.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None what so ever! Hoping to change that soon...
Interests
Music, playing it, writing it, listening to it, attending performances of it, etc.
Reading, writing, and I love reading aloud!
I love art and painting (although I'm an amateur).
I also love working out at the gym, but I'm not super buff or anything.

Music, Movies, and Books
Most jazz music, as a rule.
Heaps of fiction, Australian authors include Tim Winton, Peter Carey.
...Pretty wide variety of interests, I'm sure I'd have something in common with nearly everyone.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went on tour with my band (sax -me- bass and drums) across New Zealand and the East Coast of Australia. Those memories will make me smile forever!
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn as much as I can about different cultures and perspectives... Probably "been done" and generic, but it's true!
I can offer good old fashioned "dry" Aussie humor, and if you're interested, educated opinions on music (but who cares about that, really).
I'd love to make a list from my CS friends of their favourite books, and try and devour that.
I'd love to learn recipes! Did I mention I love cooking?
