About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To participate in the full human experience

ABOUT ME

Well its been a wild last few years, at least for me, and I have been exploring facets of life I've never really known about. I'm easy to get along with and love to laugh. I'm an intelligent guy who enjoys good conversation, but I'm by no means restricted to the mental. I absolutely love music and have recently come to love dance. I'm really enamored by many different aspects of life and if you and I get together I'm positive we can find something to bond over.

PHILOSOPHY

Do what living things do and what human beings do. Defy non being by choosing being, living, yessing. Be in your body and feel your existence, surrender to joy and love if possible, create the romantic and heroic if possible, honor suffering, exist as an act of power and defiance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Gaahhh! Its been a somewhat unplanned year for me. And while I haven't been travelling, my living situation's been less than stable. So I'm sorry I haven't had a couch! I'm gearing up for another long stretch of travel, and I hope everyone is merciful on a guy who hasn't yet hosted...

If I settle down in a year, I promise I'll let folks over!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've just been meeting up for coffee and a chat with people in other countries- I haven't yet been on a couch. But the few people that I've met all had something interesting going on, and all were intelligent, open folks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I got to hang out with some Senegalese refugees, as they practiced one of their religious rituals, up in the caves of Granada. I think thats pretty snazzy.

Teach, Learn, Share

Oh man, why am I so lacking in practical skills? Well I've been learning guitar and banjo, so I can teach you baby steps in those. I can probably show you how to make a simple farmer's cheese, and maybe a few easy bicycle repair steps. I can teach you a little spanish as well.

I can (probably) talk politics, philosophy, history and psychology. I know alot about the bible and christianity (especially my own past with a calvinist twist!) Ask me about stuff relating to human meaning, I know much less about the sciences.

Countries I’ve Visited

Morocco, Peru

Countries I’ve Lived In

Spain, United States
