About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to figure what to do next in life and have as much fun as possible in the process

ABOUT ME

I am on my 24th year on this earth and just trying to live the dream like everyone else. And by that I mean, I'm on my second year of living in Brooklyn after being raised in NJ and going to school on Long Island. I'm in that transition phase after college which includes trying to find that new "grown-up job" which I hope will lead to much more opportunity to travel once I find it!

I love meeting new people and having new experiences. I love to go out and party with the best, but I also love to stay home and cook dinner and relax.

PHILOSOPHY

I just live my life the best way I know how. I believe balance is the most important thing and I am constantly seeking to find the perfect balance.
I think one key component to finding balance is to open your mind and experience as much as possible from outside your comfort zone.
The more people I can meet and talk with and share experiences with, the more I will be able to put the rest of life into a balanced perspective.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couch surfed for the first time this in the summer of 2010 with my best friend while we drove around the US for a month. It was amazing, I have since found a renewed faith in humanity and cannot wait to host others and return the favor!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some of the best times I had during my trip across country was couchsurfing. Staying with a true local meant we got to see the cool, everyday things that tourists wouldn't know about. Plus, most hosts we had, had amazing couch surfing stories of their own to share and I definitely made some friends I hope to stay in touch with for life!

Interests

cooking and eating good food, red wine and more red wine, traveling, having conversations about real life, and all things new and exciting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a month traveling in a Jeep with my best friend, armed with not much more than a few dollars, an atlas and a great hunger for adventure! It was truly an amazing experience! I learned so much about myself, my best friend, other people, and the country I call home but really knew such little about.

Teach, Learn, Share

Couchsurfing is an amazing experience! Forget your worries and all of the people telling you its dangerous and just have a little faith! So far, everyone I have met through this site, is very like-minded and wonderful people.

**Tip if driving across the US (especially with limited funds)... get a Shell gas card! It must be Shell because they have a monopoly over the middle of nowhere places. When there is only 1 gas station for the next 150 miles, i can guarantee you, it will be a Shell! And this way, you don't blow all of your cash on gas, you can pay some of it back after the trip and save the cash for more pressing matters :)
