Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I finally used couchsurfing in my trip to Latin America this year and I loved it. I met such good and open people that opened up my eyes to the world :).

Interests

I've been playing guitar since I was 8 years old, its a big part of my life when I think about it; possibly too big.

Also I studied Philosophy and American Literature at my University.

I absolutely love languages, music, meeting people and... Table Football (futbolín). I used to like it so much that I was part of my old University's Table Football club!

On a much nerdier note, I love all things Linux and FOSS.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music
So much, especially guitar based music. Folk music (Damien Rice, Dave Van Ronk, Bob Dylan, Nick Drake), flamenco (Camarón, Paco de Lucia, Estrella Morente, los Dilenquentes), bossa nova (Tom Jobim, Baden Powell).

When I was younger I was in a lot of punk and metal bands (our band was called "This is Sparta", terrible name I know).

Movies
I love Latin and Spanish cinema (I watched so many to try to learn Spanish). 9 Reinas, Un Cuento Chino, Diarios de Motocicleta, "No", Tu mamá también, El laberinto del fauno, Ocho apellidos vascos (sorry).

I also love: In Bruges, 7 Psychopaths, Anything Tarintino, Anything Spielburg, Star Wars!

Books
Harry potter (I'm English..), Lord of the Rings, Gravity's Rainbow, The New York Triology, Edgar Allen Poe.
